Went to work today at 10am. Because that's when I supposed to be there, no one was there. I waited around for an hour reading Fight Club and got fed up, urging me to go to Record Archive to get a cheap used cassette tape for my car. I wasn't as successful as last time, finding The Smiths self titled tape, but I did find Squirrel Nut Zippers, HOT.

Morrigan is so smart. She is picking up on words and sentences so fast. It's blowing my mind. I've been trying to work on her alphabet. She knows all the letters, just not the order. I haven't worked on that as much as I have 1-15 with her. I call her "Peanut" now thanks to Dead Like Me. It's kind funny though.

So we found this awesome 2 story 3 bedroom apartment for $600/month. Tuesday we are going to check it out and turn in our application. John will be moving in late August.

I can't get away from my job. I really don't want to leave it because it's rare that I can keep a job this long (over 6 months), and it will be really hard to find something that pays as well as it does for the hours I work. It's gotten better. They canceled some streets that we normally go to because of the crime rate and we got cameras in the store now.

I'm sorry for not being kind to my friends list and leaving replies. I have honestly been avoiding the internet lately. It feels kind of nice not to be on all the time. I really hate reading so much drama. I know that LJ is a great outlet for it, and I'm not trying to knock anyone on my friends list that post drama, but it's just not my thing.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. got pushed back to next year. For sure. Again. Sad times.
I really want Space Ghost: Coast to Coast seasons 2 & 3. It seems like no video store around here even has it to rent, even though they have every other friggin' Adult Swim DVD in stock.
*looks around suspiciously* ... and they don't have it anywhere online to download... WHAT?! I will buy them someday! It's just like renting or checking it from the library...

I want to start studying something completely random to be knowlageable in it. No idea what though. Wine or maybe cooking basics, herbology, botany. Something along those lines.

This morning Leesha, Momo and I walked to the diner down the street and ate ...brunch... in celebration. Fun stuff. We walked the long way back and Momo and played the whole way the whole way home.
